Astercrafts Project #8: The makeshift eye test for toddlers

We are proud of you,Fab!!

Well,we did it! In our 6th week of homeschooling Aster,I'm proud to say that our toddler can now effectively recognize shapes,colors,sizes,letters,and numbers,can speak little english,write some letters of the alphabet,spell 2-letter words,can appreciate works of art,can say her full name,counts orally through 10,understands empty and full,upstairs and downstairs,hot and cold,front and back,hard and soft,knows her age,can follow simple directions,recognize common sounds,identifies some parts of the body,knows common farm and zoo animals,identifies other children by name,controls pencil and crayon well,can copy simple shapes,counts objects in one-to-one correspondence,is not afraid to go to school,knows how to use a hanky/tissue,knows own sex,can carry a plate of food,recognizes authority,and is learning to share,be polite,and prayerful!

(We are happy that our toddler is learning,but as parents,we have no expectations beyond immediate enjoyment of her imagination.. )
