The Ablens (a hefty 16pax) took a slow boat to Cebu,Friday May 25. Daughter slept so late, and my eyes were
just so huge the entire night I never even felt sleepy at all.(Secret: I
have a big fear of ships and seas.Darn.)
àBut hey, this is how summers should be!
Okay...So the boat left at 10pm, Cebu was already discernible(?)
around 2am.
Here’s the Rota:
Day 1,Saturday:
(Where the Mansions are--White Hills,Banawa,Cebu. We stayed at Ate Malou's(sis in law) jumbo home as well.)
(Cherubs in action)
(Because we are major slackers!Haha!)
(Pretty,eccentric stairs)
(The napping, drowsy bunch)
(A treasure trove.)
After a quick sunup snooze, we went to SM for preliminary
shopping.I was literally robbed at Toys R Us,spending almost p2000 for dot’s
toys.Tsk tsk..We sauntered for some cheapo shoes,Ajiichiban sweetmeats,Vitamin
B articles for my woozy patients,a p50 book from BookSale and a shrewd
green ink for my name stamp.Dot enjoyed the Playroom Palace and the naughty motor ride.
(A freebie from Toy Kingdom, for every 1 Moolah up purchases)
(3 Play Doh sets from Toy Kingdom+Kengko World Thingamajigs+Barbie leaves)
(Only p50!)
(The grass ink)
Met ze folks for dinner @ Mooon Cafe at Robinsons Cybergate. They’re
here for the NatCon.At dahil ako ay preoccupied (no childminder in tow),ABSENT.
Again.Hehe. We had a blast at Kenko,where
cute Jap articles are swamping with glee.
Day 2,Sunday:
An early morn nosebleed greeted me before the troop attended
mass at the Alliance of Two Hearts. We stayed
in Ayala to beat the heat the entire afternoon. My first trip to Muji was
breathtaking! Those frosty and tanned plains made my day!
The kids enjoyed Blue
Bell icecream,and yes,the roomy Playroom.
After a 4-hr saunter,we hurredly went home to White Hills to
grace Eloi’s graduation party. It was indeed a cosmic one, with an immense number
of foodstuff!
(My Muji Frosty Duo)
Muji-"A happy place"
Day 3,Monday:
An unanticipated
Pacific Mall trip with the group brought me to a zero-spending position. Except
perhaps the big bowl of fries and lazy donuts at the foodcourt.Ahem.
Day 4,Tuesday:
Another giddy trip to SM tore the sides of my cash can! Ha
ha! Spent a gigantic 4k with only a few exciting stuff at Forever 21, Ace,a Jockey
sando, ballet flats (again), and an ocu-patch for my blazer!
Dot and I had a kinda serious date at the Famous Belgian Waffles too.
BTW: We were at Mactan International Airport for a Molons Send off , late-night
(A sublime Ace purchase.)
(My first Forever 21 fandangles.Because you know, Cebu is formatively and cleverly far)
(MomDot quick date)
(New ocu-patch for my clinic)
(@ The Molons Send off=Mactan International Airport)
Day 5,Wednesday:
The Crocolandia walk with the group,7/11 ice cream trial ,SM
grilling pan, power slicer/chopper,GPRS center tarp request , plus
the scorching heat made me cranky! Lol!
(Print Ads for ePay/Busyhands)
Day 6,Thursday:
A delish Matias barbecue chomp with the Molon kids and the
quick trip to Ayala before our C-O voyage
was amusing! Those Toys and Tickles needless to say,are pricey!
(Canvass=Passbook/bills/receipts holder @ Tickles, Ayala Center Cebu. Only p150!)
An almost 22K expenditure for a sunny vacay in Cebu this
summer is truly worth the time lag!
